Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Irving, TX is seeking a senior software engineer with 6+ years of experience to design, develop and maintain scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.

You will build responsive UIs with Angular or React, develop RESTful APIs, ensure security and performance, and participate in architectural discussions within an Agile team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 6+ years of software development experience.
• Strong programming experience in Java 8/11/17.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA.
• Experience designing and implementing Microservices Architecture.
• Solid experience with Angular (8+) and/or React.js.
• Expertise in developing RESTful APIs and web services.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and Design Patterns.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
