Job summary

Photon in Newark, DE seeks an experienced Full Stack Technical Lead focused on front-end and API development to design, develop, and deliver scalable, high‑performance applications. Expert React/TypeScript and micro-frontend architecture are essential.

You will own the MFE strategy, shape the UI design system from Figma, design REST APIs, enforce accessibility and security, guide engineering teams, and drive CI/CD and AI-assisted coding practices.

Qualifications

• Expert, hands-on React and TypeScript skills.
• Proven experience with micro-frontend architecture using Webpack and Module Federation.
• Strong REST API design and implementation capabilities.
• Hands-on Node.js for API/backend services.
• Experience with state management patterns and CSS at scale.
• Figma hand-off workflows and UI design system experience.
• Knowledge of ARIA/WCAG, OAuth/OIDC, and OWASP security practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical design and development of full-stack apps with focus on UI and APIs.
• Own the micro-frontend strategy, module boundaries, and Module Federation setup across teams.
• Define the UI design system and how tokens are sourced from Figma to code.
• Set standards for state management and CSS architecture at scale.
• Ensure accessibility compliance and UI performance budgets.
• Design, build, and manage RESTful APIs with OpenAPI 3.0 and governance.
• Champion contract testing, CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and documentation.
