Job summary

Creative Artists Agency (CAA) in Nashville is seeking a Senior Full Stack Web Developer Lead/Manager to join our engineering team. You will write code, lead an agile development team, mentor peers, and collaborate with product management to deliver high-quality web applications.

The role requires deep knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, React, Redux, and Jest, with backend experience in Node.js and related frameworks. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years' experience as a Full Stack Web Developer or similar role.
• Mastery with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript; frameworks like React/Angular/Vue.js.
• Strong back-end experience with Node.js/Express or similar.
• Experience with MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL or similar databases.
• Experience on large single-page apps with complex state management.
• Familiarity with UI frameworks (Bootstrap, Material UI, Tailwind).
• Experience writing unit/integration tests (Jest, Cypress, etc.).
• Experience leading a team and performing code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using modern web technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Lead an agile team with 3-5 developers; manage 2-3 developers.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify bottlenecks and fix bugs; mentor other developers.
• Participate in code reviews and stay current with industry trends.
