Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners (MRP) in the United States seeks a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to own a greenfield mobile inspection platform and supporting cloud infrastructure. Lead architecture, backend services, and mobile app development, mentoring peers while writing production code.

You will work with robotics, AI, product, and operations teams to deliver scalable, secure software for industrial deployments across customer sites.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional full stack software development experience.
• Strong expertise with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
• Experience building and shipping production mobile applications (React Native, Flutter, native iOS/Android).
• Experience designing scalable cloud-native applications (GCP preferred).
• RESTful APIs and distributed systems design experience.
• SQL and NoSQL databases experience.
• Backend services with Node.js/ .NET / Java / Go / Python.
• CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent.

The Opportunity

We're seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to lead the development of a next‑generation mobile inspection platform and its supporting cloud infrastructure. This is a highly visible, hands‑on engineering role where you'll own the complete software lifecycle—from architecture and backend services to mobile application development and deployment.

You'll work closely with robotics, product, AI, and operations teams to build software that technicians rely on every day in fast‑paced industrial environments. The ideal candidate enjoys building products from scratch, making architectural decisions, and mentoring engineers while remaining deeply involved in writing production code.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of professional full stack software development experience

• Strong expertise with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks

• Experience building and shipping production mobile applications using React Native, Flutter, native iOS/Android, or similar technologies

• Experience designing scalable cloud‑native applications (GCP preferred, AWS or Azure acceptable)

• Strong background designing RESTful APIs and distributed systems

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases

• Experience building scalable backend services using Node.js, .NET, Java, Go, Python, or similar technologies

• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent

• Strong understanding of software architecture, clean code principles, and test automation

• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and technical leadership skills

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience building offline‑first mobile applications

• Experience implementing synchronization between mobile and cloud platforms

• Experience with image capture, camera integration, or mobile computer vision

• Familiarity with IoT, robotics, or edge computing environments

• Experience with cloud messaging systems, event‑driven architectures, and Pub/Sub technologies

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized applications

• Familiarity with automotive technology, field service applications, or industrial software

• Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives

• Contributions to open‑source software projects are a plus
