Vantor is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and enhance geospatial and Motion GEOINT applications. You will build scalable software across front-end, back-end, and data layers, with interactive visualization and 3D rendering capabilities.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience with geospatial applications, including Motion GEOINT data, concepts, and systems.
• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with modern development practices, including version control, automated testing, and CI/CD.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles and distributed systems.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Desired Qualifications

• Expertise in modern frameworks and technologies such as React, Angular, Node.js, Django, or Spring.
• Experience with 3D graphics, visualization, or game engine technologies (e.g., OpenGL, WebGL, Unity, CesiumJS).
• Strong background in geospatial tools and platforms (e.g., PostGIS, GeoServer, ArcGIS, QGIS, Leaflet, Mapbox).
• Experience with big data and distributed processing frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, GeoWave).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, Chef, Vagrant, automated configuration management).
• Experience with cloud and virtualization technologies (e.g., AWS, VMware, VirtualBox).
• Proficiency with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cassandra, or SQLite.
• Experience with multithreading, multiprocessing, and high-performance computing.
• Knowledge of mobile development platforms (Android, iOS, Windows).
• Strong UI/UX development experience with a focus on usability and performance.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.

Pay Transparency

To support pay transparency, Vantor includes salary ranges in all U.S. job postings. Starting pay for this role will fall within the listed range and will be based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, location, and market conditions. Candidates who meet the minimum requirements for the role should not expect to receive compensation at the top of the range. The listed range reflects the expected pay for this position, and final offers will be determined based on each candidate’s experience, expertise, and alignment with the role.

The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $165,000.00 - $220,000.00 - $242,000.00 annually. For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
