Job summary

Benz Technology is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy end-to-end applications that deliver direct operational impact to analyst workflows. You’ll collaborate with mission stakeholders, data scientists, and analysts to translate requirements into working software across the full stack—from UI to cloud-based data pipelines.

The role requires an Active TS/SCI clearance, U.S. citizenship, and on-site work at Fort Meade.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, Java, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Elasticsearch and Git-based workflows.
• Experience building full-stack applications from UI to backend APIs.
• Experience establishing CI/CD pipelines for secure deployments.
• Experience with mission data repositories and tooling (XKS, GM, LABBENCH, PRESSUREWAVE).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain user-facing applications that integrate front-end UI with back-end services to support analyst workflows.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for mission data access and processing.
• Incorporate data visualizations to surface actionable insights for analysts.
• Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines for secure, reliable application deployment.
• Work within cloud environments and customer-specific data repositories to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Collaborate directly with stakeholders, data scientists, and analysts to capture and translate requirements into working software.
• Support integration with mission tools including XKS, GM, LABBENCH, PRESSUREWAVE, and Elasticsearch.
