Job summary

Kings III, LiftNet division, seeks a senior full-stack engineer specializing in Rust to drive features across the stack—from React/TypeScript front-end to Go cloud APIs and Rust core services. You will own vertical slices and collaborate with a principal engineer to reduce bottlenecks, contributing to LiftNet's evolving architecture and QA efforts.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of Rust engineering experience with senior-level competency.
• Genuine full-stack capability: production experience building front-ends in React/TypeScript and working server-side APIs (Go in the cloud).
• Client/server distributed-system design experience aligned to the LiftNet direction.
• Demonstrated self-starting autonomy with domain ownership end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Own features end to end across the stack - front-end (React/TypeScript), cloud API (Go/LiftCloud), and Rust services.
• Do deep Rust work on the VTS layer and the LiftNet client/server re-architecture.
• Read and extend the Go cloud API and build the UI that consumes it coherently.
• Build data-dense, real-time interfaces and dashboards for operators and technicians.
• Design and build client/server distributed-system components aligned to LiftNet.
• Operate, debug, and harden Linux-based services on edge devices and in the cloud.
• Integrate OT protocols (OPC UA, Modbus, serial).
• Contribute to AWS environment setup and SOC 2 readiness.
