You will develop modern web applications using PHP/Laravel, Python scripting, and responsive frontend technologies. The role involves building scalable web apps, APIs, dashboards, and data processing components, with emphasis on engaging user interfaces and enterprise-grade performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of professional development with PHP/Laravel and Python.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Preference for candidates in the greater Washington, DC area for hybrid work.

Responsibilities

• Build modern web applications using PHP/Laravel, creating scalable architectures for high concurrency.
• Frontend development to create responsive, interactive UI with modern JS frameworks.
• API development with RESTful services for data exchange.
• Database integration and data storage/retrieval optimization.
• Python automation for data processing, scraping, and API tasks.
• AWS deployment and management (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront).
• Performance optimization and caching strategies.
• Create comprehensive test suites (unit/integration) to ensure quality.
