Job summary

Expert Technology Services is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Engineer in Jersey City, NJ, focusing on backend API work and AWS cloud infra. You will lead backend development with Spring Boot, design RESTful interfaces, and optimize database performance with Oracle SQL. Expect extensive CI/CD, AWS, and monitoring via Datadog and Splunk.

Advanced AI tooling like GitHub Copilot and Claude used to speed delivery. Frontend experience with React/Angular is a plus.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of Java development experience required.
• Strong expertise in Spring/Spring Boot and RESTful API design.
• Advanced backend service development skills.
• Deep knowledge of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and database normalization.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud technologies (EKS, Docker, Jenkins, GitHub, Udeploy, Artifactory, Terraform, Stash).
• Proficiency with production monitoring tools (Datadog, Splunk).
• Experience using AI/ML tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude) to accelerate development lifecycle.
• Nice to have: frontend frameworks (React, Angular) and conversational AI platforms.
• No background check or drug screen required.
