Job summary

Intone Inc is seeking a senior software engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable enterprise applications and AI-enabled capabilities. You will craft microservices with Java/Spring Boot, develop modern user interfaces with React, and manage REST and SOAP APIs plus event-driven integrations.

Role requires strong Kubernetes, CI/CD, Git, Maven experience, plus Linux scripting. Collaboration across Agile teams and mentoring junior developers are expected.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering in enterprise environments.
• 3+ years with Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud-native delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support scalable enterprise applications and AI-enabled product capabilities using modern Java and cloud-native technologies
• Build and enhance microservices-based applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related enterprise frameworks
• Develop modern user-facing capabilities using React and JavaScript-based technologies
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, event-driven integrations, and enterprise messaging solutions
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, product owners, engineers, and cross-functional Agile teams to translate business and technical requirements into scalable solutions
• Build and support containerized application deployments and CI/CD processes using Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, Maven, and related DevOps technologies
• Work with Apache Kafka and asynchronous messaging technologies to support distributed and event-driven architectures
• Troubleshoot complex application and production issues, perform root cause analysis, and support timely incident resolution
• Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, performance optimization, and application modernization initiatives
• Contribute to the development and integration of AI-enabled applications and intelligent automation capabilities where applicable

• 6+ years of software engineering or application development experience within enterprise environments
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native application delivery

• Strong hands-on development experience with microservices architecture
• Strong hands-on development experience with React and modern JavaScript technologies
