NTT DATA's client seeks an On-site Full Stack Java Developer in Jersey City, NJ. The role covers designing, building, and maintaining Java-based components and microservices, with mentoring and code reviews as part of daily duties.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Java/J2EE, Spring, and UI frameworks (Angular/REACT), plus strong knowledge of REST services and distributed systems. In-office work five days a week in Jersey City.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Core Java developer with 5+ years' experience in Java/J2EE, Spring, and related technologies.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in Java and J2EE, Java 8+ features.
• 5+ years' experience in Spring Boot.
• 5+ years' experience in UI frameworks like Angular or REACT.
• 5+ years' experience building RESTful web services and microservices.
• 5+ years' experience with open-source tools and frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, Spring JPA).
• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Familiar with Agile software development and build tools like Gradle and Maven.
• 5+ years' experience with Git and Linux/Unix environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and implement Java-based components, apps, and frameworks.
• Lead design and architecture of Java-based solutions.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and admins for full integration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Java applications issues.
• Develop and maintain software documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers.
• Keep up-to-date with Java technologies and trends.
• Optimize existing code for performance.
• Analyze existing code and implement necessary changes.
• Participate in code reviews and suggest improvements.
