Job Description

This BAE Systems program supports a federal customer who is the principal fact-finding agency for the Federal Government in the broad field of labor economics and statistics. Theagency is anindependent national statistical agency that collects, processes, analyzes, and disseminates essential statistical data to the American public, the U.S. Congress, other Federal agencies, State and local governments, business, and labor. This position supportsThe Local Area Unemployment Statistics (LAUS) program itis a Federal/State cooperative program which produces monthly estimates of total employment and unemployment for approximately 7,500 areas.

Qualifications

Typical Education and Experience :Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills :A minimum of6 years overallexperience inthe design and development of applications

• Full stack Javadeveloper.
• Strong backend as well as front end knowledge.
• Experience using Object Oriented programming anddesign patterns.
• Strong knowledge of: Spring framework, Maven or Gradle build tools.

Preferred Skills and Education :
