Job summary

Cayuse is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer to join an agile team building enterprise applications. You will design backend APIs with Java and Spring Boot, create responsive UIs with React, and optimize PostgreSQL schemas.

The role emphasizes security, scalability, and adherence to agile ceremonies. You will work across the development life cycle, participate in scrum, and ensure compliance with 508 accessibility and security practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of full-stack software development experience.
• Strong UI development skills with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS.
• Experience with Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate, RESTful APIs, PostgreSQL, Maven, Git.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-stack design and development using Java, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Boot, React, and PostgreSQL.
• Design modern UI components using React, TypeScript/JavaScript, CSS, and reusable patterns.
• Implement normalized PostgreSQL schemas and relationships for scalability.
• Develop secure RESTful APIs for data access and system integration.
• Assist data migration between legacy and new systems with data integrity.
• Plan, deploy, and manage applications using CI/CD pipelines and version control.
• Contribute across all phases of the software life cycle.
• Ensure compliance with 508 accessibility and enterprise security standards.
