Job summary

NTT DATA North America is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer to design, implement, and maintain Java-based components, applications, and frameworks. You will lead architecture, collaborate across teams, and contribute to high-quality solutions.

You will mentor junior developers and stay current with Java trends while optimizing code for performance and scalability. This role requires in-office presence 5 days/week in a hybrid US environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Core Java developer with 5 years' experience using Java/J2EE, Spring, and related technologies.
• 5 years hands-on experience with Java/J2EE and Java 8+ features.
• 5 years' experience in Spring Boot.
• 5 years' experience with UI frameworks such as Angular or REACT.
• 5 years' hands-on development building RESTful Java Web Services.
• 5 years' experience building scalable and distributed microservices.
• 5 years' experience with Spring, Hibernate, Spring JPA.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of Java-based solutions.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and system administrators to ensure proper integration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in Java applications.
• Develop and maintain software documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest Java technologies and trends.
• Analyze existing code and implement necessary changes.
• Participate in code reviews and suggest improvements.
