ZipStaff Inc. seeks a Senior Full Stack Java Developer for an AI Lab team in a financial services setting. You will build Java/Spring applications and modern front ends, influence architecture, ensure quality, and mentor teammates.

The role is hands-on with AI-enabled, data-driven product work alongside data scientists and product owners. You will design and implement end-to-end features, participate in architecture discussions, and support deployment and production operations in a distributed

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong Spring MVC/Data/Security and enterprise backend systems.
• Modern frontend experience with Angular and TypeScript (React acceptable).
• SQL and NoSQL, data modeling and performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications in a distributed environment.
• Build end-to-end features with React or Angular and Java / Spring Boot (Python or Node.js as needed).
• Own features from requirements through implementation, deployment, and production support.
• Contribute to AI-enabled and data-driven solutions with data and product teams.
• Participate in design and architecture discussions; run code reviews.
• Mentor less experienced developers and set engineering standards.
• Work with CI/CD and deployment automation; support OpenShift and Azure.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues.
• Apply RAG, embeddings, vector search, and agentic frameworks where the product needs them.
