Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• 6+ years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply).
• At least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
• At least 4 years of people management experience.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• 9+ years of experience in at least one of JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure or another cloud service.
• 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks.
• 7+ years of people management experience.
• 2+ years of experience in Agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices and full stack systems.
• Mentor engineers, stay current with tech trends, and occasionally code or evaluate code.
• Collaborate with product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions for millions of users.
• Utilize JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go with AWS tools, Docker, Kubernetes, and various databases.
