Job summary

Checkr, Inc. is hiring a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer for the Trust team in San Francisco. You will own end-to-end development, design and launch new products, and build scalable APIs while collaborating with customers and engineers to deliver impactful features.

You should have 5+ years of full stack experience, strong Ruby on Rails and React skills, and an experimentation mindset to drive rapid MVPs in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

BS/MS degree in computer science or an engineering discipline.
5+ years of full stack software development experience.
Advanced knowledge in Ruby on Rails and JavaScript (React).
Experimentation mindset and comfort with fast-paced startups.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and launch new products with customers, engineers and leaders.
Own end-to-end development from idea to deployment.
Build and improve APIs and integrate third-party services.
Maintain reliable code with testing, thoughtful reviews, and best practices.
Run product experiments to guide future development.
Build scalable APIs and event-driven architectures for high traffic.
