Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to design, build, and enhance modern applications for a leading insurance client. The role is remote in the United States, with a hands-on responsibility to deliver scalable solutions across frontend and backend technologies in an Agile environment.

You will collaborate with product, engineering and cross-functional teams, drive CI/CD and security, and translate business requirements into robust designs.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• 10–15 years of experience developing and supporting full stack applications.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud technologies.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Understanding of secure coding, code quality, performance, and modern engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance full stack applications using modern frontend and backend technologies.
• Translate business requirements into robust technical designs.
• Drive CI/CD, code quality, security, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and other cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, testing, and production readiness activities.
