Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a hands-on full-stack engineer to lead a conversational AI project with a strong focus on two-way voice interactions, reliability, and secure data handling. You will shape architecture, integrate AI services, and ensure a production-ready product across frontend and backend stacks.

The role emphasizes experience delivering voice-based apps, real-time speech processing, and scalable LMS integrations, with remote work in India and a path toward long-term engagement.

Qualifications

• Hands-on with building conversational or voice-based apps.
• Owns architecture, latency considerations, interruption handling, and usage costs.
• Strong frontend development with TypeScript and React (or similar).
• Experience with browser audio capture, playback, and microphone permissions.
• Backend with Python (FastAPI) or Node.js with TypeScript.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, WebSockets/WeRTC, authentication, and data modeling.
• Experience integrating LLM and speech services in real time.
• Prompt and context design for structured model outputs and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical approach and delivery of a conversational AI solution.
• Assess LMS capabilities and platform extensions; propose configurations or custom builds.
• Document feasibility, dependencies, risks, and operating-cost assumptions.
• Define architecture and implementation approach from business needs.
• Build two-way voice prototype with responsive audio, state handling, and recovery from failures.
• Create AI customer persona and ensure consistent behavior across learner responses.
• Integrate speech and language models via real-time speech-to-speech or hybrid approaches.
• Translate training materials into configurable, versioned scenarios and rubrics.
• Investigate Absorb LMS integrations, embeddings, and auth/workflow paths.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and clean authentication/completion paths.
• Implement scoring, coaching, and generate branded PDFs; store data in structured DB.
• Maintain logs, security, and data boundaries; manage usage, resets, and alerts.
• Deliver and document source, configuration, deployment steps, and troubleshooting.
