Capital One is seeking a Full-stack Software Engineer who will drive a portfolio of microservices and full-stack projects. You’ll mentor engineers and collaborate with product managers to deliver robust, cloud-based solutions used by millions of Americans.

You’ll work with Java, Go, Python, JS/TS, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS/GCP/Azure, influencing architecture and platform strategy while maintaining high reliability and performance. Remote-eligible, highly skilled candidates encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field.
• At least 6 years of software engineering experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects with distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
• Mentor engineers, participate in technology communities, and share best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions for customers.
• Work with Java, Scala, Python, Go, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript across stacks.
• Provide technical leadership and define platform roadmaps and shared services.
