Job summary

Miovision is engineering the future of smart transportation. We seek a Senior Software Engineer to own end-to-end product features across the stack, driving performance, reliability, and scalability in real-time data systems.

You will design distributed microservices with Kafka-based messaging, leverage AWS and Docker, and mentor teammates while shaping the software architecture for IoT data pipelines and edge-to-cloud workflows.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing, deploying, and maintaining high-impact full-stack software solutions.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Ownership: develop, test, deploy, and maintain product-level code across the entire codebase.
• Architect & Influence: lead technical design discussions and drive architectural improvements.
• Complex Problem Solving: triage, debug, and resolve intricate system issues across hardware to services.
• System Optimization: evaluate performance, cost, and scalability of live systems and refactor legacy code.
• Agile Collaboration: work cross-functionally in agile sprints with product managers, designers, and engineers.
• Quality Champion: conduct thorough code reviews ensuring best practices and performance.
• Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: document and mentor junior team members and co-ops.
