Job summary

Ontrac Solutions LLC. seeks a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to own features end-to-end across a React frontend, a Node.js service layer, and a PostgreSQL data model, deployed on Google Cloud Platform.

Work with the Engagement Lead, Program Manager, and customer stakeholders to deliver from definition to final delivery. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of professional experience, a CS-related degree, and strong backend Java with Spring Boot, React frontend, and Node.js services.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering production web applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement features spanning React frontend, Spring Boot backend, and PostgreSQL schema.
• Build React components from Figma mockups provided by design team.
• Develop and maintain REST API layer between frontend and backend services.
• Create and manage supporting Node.js services and their integration with Java backend.
• Deploy and operate applications on Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage).
• Maintain unit tests and test coverage with JUnit/Mockito in the Java stack.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Java and Node.js components.
• Produce technical documentation covering architecture, API contracts, and data model.
• Collaborate with engagement team and customer stakeholders to align requirements.
