Job summary

AIMPROSOFT is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer (React + Node.js) for a contract role of roughly 6–12 months on an international utilities project. You will work with an engineering team to build the next generation of planning, scheduling, and AI-powered workflows on AWS.

Responsibilities include building React front-ends, REST APIs with Node.js/Nest.js, and optimizing PostgreSQL queries, while aligning with UK stakeholders and the client team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial experience with Node.js and backend focus.
• Solid commercial experience with React.
• Upper-Intermediate+ English level for collaboration with UK-based team.
• Strong experience building REST APIs and backend services.
• Hands-on experience with Nest.js.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL.
• Experience with AWS services (Lambda, ECS, API Gateway).
• Good understanding of testing practices, Git workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modern React applications.
• Build scalable backend services and REST APIs using Node.js and Nest.js.
• Deliver end-to-end product features across the full stack.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases and queries.
• Deploy and support cloud-native apps on AWS.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and releases.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve platform reliability.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers.
• Investigate challenges independently and drive solutions with minimal supervision.
• Leverage AI development tools to improve productivity and speed.
