Motion Recruitment is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join a growing engineering team in Boston. The role focuses on building and scaling customer-facing apps, internal platforms, and backend services that support core business operations.

The ideal candidate has strong full-stack experience, especially with React and Node.js, and a quality-first mindset. You’ll work on new features, testing, and ensuring production-ready software in a fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Experience building and supporting production web applications.
• Significant experience with automated testing and quality engineering practices.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium and Playwright.
• Experience writing and maintaining end-to-end, integration, and regression tests.
• Experience working with REST APIs and modern web architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy full-stack web applications and platform features.
• Build and maintain frontend applications using React and backend services using Node.js.
• Develop and execute automated testing strategies across web applications.
• Create and maintain end-to-end test suites using Playwright and Selenium.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Identify and resolve performance, reliability, and scalability issues.
