Bluelight is a fast-growing software consultancy seeking a skilled full-stack developer to join our expanding team. You will work on challenging projects using Python, Django/Flask, React and modern cloud tools, collaborating with product owners and managers to deliver features end-to-end.

You’ll own design, testing, and deployment in a fast-paced, open environment, with opportunities for remote work, continuous learning, and professional growth across our US network.

Qualifications

• Broad experience with backend and front-end development using open source technologies.
• Strong Python background and familiarity with Django/Flask and SQLAlchemy.
• Experience with modern web frameworks and data storage/access models.
• Proven ability to implement CI tools like Jenkins and automate processes.
• Refactoring mindset and Agile software development experience.
• Solid fundamentals in OO design, data structures and algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers, product owners, managers and business stakeholders to craft new features.
• Operate independently with support from senior technology leaders.
• Lead projects from concept through development, debugging, release and iteration.
• Build enterprise-scale solutions with scalability and maintainability in mind.
