Short Story is seeking an early Senior Full Stack Engineer to build internal and customer-facing services for processing customer orders and establish key design patterns/guidelines for all backend workloads.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• 2+ years of Python experience.
• Familiar with infrastructure, CI/CD practices.
• Experience with a Python web framework.
• Experience with a testing framework (PyTest preferred).
• Experience with a cloud provider (AWS preferred).
• Experience with containerized workloads (Kubernetes preferred).
• Experience with relational database (Postgres preferred) and SQL.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Familiar with API and backend testing patterns.
