Job summary

Blueprint Technologies, LLC in Redmond, WA, seeks an experienced software engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain business applications and web tools. You will work across full-stack layers, collaborating with partners to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

Qualifications

8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another related technical field.
Experience with full-stack applications, connecting front-end to back-end services and data sources.
Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and defect-resolution skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication; able to collaborate with stakeholders.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Onsite work five days per week in Redmond, WA.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain business applications, web-based tools, automation solutions, and software systems.
Develop front-end and back-end components as part of full-stack solutions.
Gather and analyze system requirements and translate into software solutions.
Design, develop, and maintain software using solid data structures, algorithms, and large-scale systems principles.
Build prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions for emerging needs.
Develop new applications and improve existing software and legacy systems.
Prepare software specifications, technical docs, and test plans.
Develop unit and integration tests and perform thorough testing.
Troubleshoot complex issues, diagnose root causes, and implement resolutions.
Support applications through testing, deployment, and post-implementation validation.
Create and manage migration packages for environments.
Identify and resolve defects across development and production.
Participate in QA and code reviews to ensure quality.
Connect front-end apps with back-end services and data sources.
Track work in Azure DevOps or similar tools.
Communicate progress, decisions, and challenges with stakeholders.
Develop solutions that can transition to long-term teams.
