Job summary

York Space Systems is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to support mission operations from a local MOC. You will build and maintain a modern web-based application (React/TypeScript, C# .NET) within a microservice architecture (Docker, Kafka, REST).

You’ll work autonomously as the primary technical contact at your site, with ongoing collaboration with the Denver team for direction and longer-term projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong remote collaboration skills and async communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as local MOC technical resource and resolve issues with independence.
• Provide on-call support for mission-critical operations.
• Collaborate with Denver ground software team for feature development and long-term work.
• Develop user-facing features using TypeScript, React, C#, MSSQL, InfluxDB, Kafka, and Python.
• Write unit/integration tests and documentation.
