Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer for a 12-month contract in Irving, TX. You will develop scalable applications using Java, Node.js, and React with full ownership of backend microservices and APIs.

Role requires AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL/NoSQL databases, and modern CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 9+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Node.js, and React.
• Hands-On backend microservices & API development using Java Spring Boot, Node.js, REST, JSON, Docker, Kubernetes, NoSql databases, MongoDB/PostgreSQL and Tomcat with full ownership of software architecture, design and development.
• Experience working with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, responsive applications using Java, Node.js, and React.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Integrate front-end components with back-end services and APIs.
• Deploy applications on AWS infrastructure using services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.
• Monitor and optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by users or identified through testing.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in full-stack development and cloud computing.
