Sony Interactive Entertainment in Madison, WI is seeking a Sr. Full Stack Software Engineer (Contract Role) to help build next‑generation commerce platforms and experiences for PlayStation.

You will work with React, React Native, and modern web technologies to deliver high‑quality, thoroughly tested code for one of the world’s most recognizable brands. The role requires collaboration with Product Owners and Engineers, designing robust UI solutions, and delivering features through CI/CD pipelines

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 5+ years of relevant work experience instead of a degree.
• 5+ years of building product experiences with UI technologies.
• A passion for robust, sustainable, high‑quality code.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Capable of producing detailed design and development documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test and document business critical features and applications.
• Work with Product Owners and Product Managers to understand feature requirements and craft solutions.
• Write unit and component tests to ensure reliability and prevent regressions.
• Developing JavaScript‑based applications for PlayStation platforms and services.
• Build digital commerce solutions for PlayStation games and content.
• Deploy through CI/CD pipelines and monitor releases.
• Collaborate with internal and external engineers and participate in code reviews.
