ZipStaff Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to design, build, and operate high-availability full-stack and backend systems in an on-site McLean, VA setting.

You will leverage Go, Java, Node.js or C# and work across databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB, with strong emphasis on security, performance, and scalable architecture. You will apply microservices and serverless patterns in AWS, integrate AI-assisted tooling, and collaborate with cross-functional

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and operating production-grade full-stack apps in AWS.
• 5+ years with Go, Java, Node.js, or C# development.
• 3+ years distributed architecture using microservices or serverless in AWS, Google, or Azure.
• 3+ years experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience in CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance.
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
• Experience using generative AI tools to accelerate development and review AI-generated code.
• Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
• On-site work in McLean, VA.

Responsibilities

• > Design and develop software products meeting user needs and market demands.
