A leading financial technology company is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to build scalable applications and drive innovation. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in software development, strong skills in JavaScript and TypeScript, and knowledge of microservices architecture. As a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of launching a brand-new business initiative, working hand-in-hand with our financial advisors team to create products that change the way we deliver value to clients. As a Front-end focused Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer will have direct business impact, working alongside our financial advisors team in order to build and guide a new businessIn this role, you will be responsible for writing high-quality, scalable, and efficient code, ensuring that software meets business and technical requirements. Additionally, reviewing and optimizing existing code, conducting thorough testing, and troubleshooting complex issues to improve system performance and reliability. In this role you will also have the opportunity to mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and best practices in coding, architecture, and software development methodologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and quality assurance professionals, to align technical solutions with business objectives. Furthermore, you will contribute to architectural decisions, evaluate new technologies, and drive innovation within the organization.
Secure & Scalable Development
Write and optimize code for high-performance financial applications.
Ensure compliance with security standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, SOC 2).
System Architecture & Design
Design scalable, fault-tolerant data systems.
Implement secure APIs and data storage for sensitive data.
Regulatory & Compliance Adherence
Ensure compliance with all SEC RIA rules and regulations
Implement logging, auditing, and risk mitigation strategies.
Technical Leadership & Collaboration
Mentor engineers and enforce best coding practices.
Work with product, risk, and compliance teams on secure solutions.
Performance Optimization & Reliability
Build robust systems to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant delivery of investor leads to RIAs.
Design infrastructure and workflows that scale with advisor demand while maintaining data integrity and availability.
Innovation & Emerging Tech
Explore new technologies to enhance investor-advisor matching, such as personalization engines and intelligent routing.
Stay ahead of evolving fintech and wealth management platforms to integrate relevant solutions into the RIA ecosystem.
Your experience:
Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in software engineering, with a strong background in backend development and distributed systems.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Technical Skills:
Core Languages: Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript (including Node.js, React.js, and Next.js).
Backend Expertise: Deep experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems.
Full-Stack Capability: Strong familiarity with Next.js for building modern full-stack applications, including server-side rendering, API routes, and integration with backend services.
Databases: Strong understanding of both SQL systems, with proven experience in high-volume, low-latency data processing.
Cloud Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with at least one major provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for deploying and scaling applications.
Security: Knowledge of security best practices, especially within regulated industries like financial services.
DevOps & Tooling: Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and orchestration.
Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while leading projects are essential for success in this role.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with top of funnel - including lead funnels, conversion metrics, performance metrics, and performance tracking.
Experience Implementing a new CRM technology platform (i.e. Salesforce, Zoho etc.)
Experience in fintech, with a hands on exposure to industry regulations, underwriting processes, and risk assessment.Familiarity with lead gen marketplaces, routing, and transmission of data.
This role will be remote (based in the U.S.).
