The role is hybrid with offices in Foster City and San Francisco, CA, requiring about 3 days per week in the office.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional full‑stack software engineering experience.
Production experience with Python, React, and TypeScript.
Strong SQL and PostgreSQL skills with solid data modeling experience.
Experience building software for private markets, venture capital, investment management, or startup financial operations.

Responsibilities

Build and enhance software for portfolio monitoring, valuations, financial reporting, and LP reporting.
Develop automated data ingestion and data-quality workflows.
Build tools to identify and resolve financial data discrepancies.
Design and maintain scalable backend services using Python.
Build responsive interfaces using React and TypeScript.
Design strong PostgreSQL data models for complex financial data.
Work directly with investor, finance, and operations stakeholders to translate business needs into software.
Develop AI/LLM-powered internal tools where appropriate.
Own features from technical design through production deployment and ongoing improvement.
Participate in production ownership, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
