Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Full-stack Software Engineer to drive a major transformation in Plano, TX. You will work across distributed microservices using Java, Go, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, with Docker, Kubernetes and AWS to build robust cloud-based solutions.

You will collaborate with product managers, provide technical leadership, and mentor engineers while helping optimize distributed systems and shaping engineering standards across Agile teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
• At least 4 years of experience in software engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Master’s Degree preferred; 7+ years of multi-language experience is valued.
• 3+ years of experience with database management and front-end JS/TS frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Mentor other engineers and participate in technology communities.
