Job summary

VeeAR Projects Inc. is seeking a versatile full-stack engineer in New York to own features end-to-end—from design and development through deployment, monitoring, and ongoing improvements.

You will build and maintain production-grade apps using Node.js, NestJS, React, and TypeScript, while developing client-facing APIs and scalable backend systems, including event queues, job scheduling, and webhooks. Collaboration with product and engineering is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have experience building production-grade applications
• Strong background in frontend and backend with modern JS/TS stacks
• Familiarity with financial infrastructure, payments, fintech is a plus

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end, from design and development through deployment, monitoring, and ongoing improvements.
• Build and maintain production-grade applications using Node.js, NestJS, React, and TypeScript.
• Develop client-facing APIs and scalable asynchronous backend systems, including event queues, job scheduling, webhooks, and failure recovery.
• Work across both frontend and backend, choosing the right approach based on business and technical requirements.
• Design reliable systems with strong attention to correctness, performance, error handling, and resilience.
• Take ownership in a fast-paced startup environment, working independently with minimal supervision and managing ambiguity effectively.
• Collaborate closely with the broader engineering and product teams while communicating clearly about progress, timelines, and challenges.
• Experience with financial infrastructure, payments, stablecoins, or fintech is a plus, along with genuine interest in global payments and modern financial technology.
