Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Development Engineer to join the Data Engineering team. You will design, build, and maintain a self-service data platform using React (TypeScript) and Python, enabling analytics and engineering teams to access data easily and securely.

The role emphasizes ownership, best practices, and a modern data architecture, with AI tooling support and opportunities to mentor peers.

Qualifications

5+ years hands-on React (TypeScript) and Python experience.
Production-grade full-stack app delivery experience.
Strong REST and gRPC API development knowledge.
Solid testing skills: unit, integration, mocking.
Docker experience and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/Github).
Experience with Snowflake, SQL Server or Postgres.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain a full-stack app using React (TypeScript) and Python.
Build frontend interfaces and backend services, data models, APIs, caching, observability.
Integrate with Kafka-driven pipelines and Snowflake data platform.
Own the full lifecycle: architecture, implementation, CI/CD, monitoring.
Apply best practices for testing, logging, error handling, and scalability.
Contribute to infrastructure automation with Terraform.
Leverage Claude AI, MCPs, and other AI tooling for development and reuse.
Mentor other developers.
