Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a senior software engineer to lead data analytics solutions and agile projects supporting critical mission objectives. The role emphasizes collaboration with senior engineers and cross-functional teams, with a focus on Linux-based development and JavaScript/React/Mongo tech stack.

The position emphasizes strong technical leadership and adherence to a robust quality process (DAT, UAT/ SME Validation, Smoke Test, SLT) before production, in a high-security defense

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with polygraph.
• Seven (7) years’ experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience (total of 11) on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Full stack development including; JavaScript, React, and Mongo, prior analytic experience, production environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate with senior engineers on the development of advanced data analytics solutions and agile projects to support high-visibility missions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on data analytics and agile development projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive mission objectives.
• Oversee software lifecycle and ensure quality through processes such as DAT, UAT/ SME Validation, Smoke Test, and System Level Test prior to production deployment.
