Job summary

Opiniion is a resident experience platform seeking a Full-Stack Developer to build and improve the primary web application and supporting services. You will own meaningful areas of the product, ship features, and work across the stack with a fast-moving team to deliver reliable, customer-focused solutions.

Based at our Lehi HQ, you will collaborate on architecture and product discussions, contributing to performance, security, and scalability while using modern tooling and AI-assisted

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong Node.js API skills with experience owning high-traffic services and auth, caching, and scalability.
• Strong SQL database skills with emphasis on query optimization and potential NoSQL.
• Frontend development using Vue/React/Angular and independent fixes within architecture.
• Experience with Docker, GitHub, AWS and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Work on a team of engineers, write code, review PRs, and participate in architectural discussions.
• Own backend API services, improve performance, security, and efficiency.
• Complete devops or frontend tasks when necessary for project success.
