Job summary

Global Placement Firm in Southlake, Texas is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead full-stack development using Spring Boot, REST, and Angular/React. The role emphasizes scalable back-end and responsive front-end work in an agile, fast-moving environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and apply DevOps practices with Git, IDEs, and SDLC discipline, while leveraging AWS Cloud and modern JS frameworks to deliver high-impact solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise Java development experience.
• Proficient in Java, Spring, REST, SQL, XML, JDBC and enterprise integrations.
• Strong front-end experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery.
• Modern JS frameworks: AngularJS, ReactJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS.
• Distributed architectures, microservices, and web services (XML/JSON, REST, SOAP).
• DevOps tools and processes: build frameworks, IDEs, Git, JIRA.
• Responsive/adaptive design knowledge.
• Software development best practices and clean coding standards.
• Unix/Shell scripting knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, user-centric applications using Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Angular/React.
• Build responsive front-end solutions focused on user experience.
• Architect and develop robust back-end systems integrated with front-end platforms.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate designs into functional web apps.
• Participate in all phases of the SDLC from analysis to deployment.
• Optimize applications for speed, responsiveness, and cross-platform functionality.
• Lead initiatives and mentor junior developers on design and code best practices.
• Utilize SonarQube to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Continuously research and integrate emerging technologies.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and project planning sessions.
