Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners LLC is seeking a Sr. Full Stack Developer for a hybrid role in Minneapolis on a 1-year contract. You will develop in Java, C#, Python, .Net, and Spring Boot, building microservices and RESTful APIs.

You’ll enhance on-prem and PAAS applications, migrate to AWS, and design serverless patterns. The role requires strong testing (TDD/BDD), CI/CD expertise, and agile collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in Java, Full-stack, C#, .NET and/or Python development.
• Experience with GitHub and/or GitLab, SonarQube, JUnit, Spring Boot.
• Strong unit testing skills (TDD/BDD) and test automation.
• Hands-on with service virtualization and test automation tools (WireMock/Mockito, Postman/REST Assured/Cypress, ReadyAPI).
• CI tools experience (Jenkins/CircleCI) and AWS serverless stack (ECS/EKS/S3/Lambda).
• Familiar with RESTful APIs, microservices, and agile environments (VersionOne/Agility).
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop efficiently using Java, C#, Python, .Net, Spring Boot, Microservices, APIs.
• Enhance on-prem and PAAS apps and migrate to AWS as needed.
• Design and implement serverless patterns from containerized apps.
• Build industry-standard APIs and manage connectivity and routing.
• Create architecture patterns for SLA, reliability, and cost.
• Lead code reviews and drive CI/CD improvements.
• Drive performance metrics, monitoring, and cost considerations.
• Ensure security and privacy compliance early in development.
• Collaborate in agile rituals and share knowledge across the team.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support as part of rotation.
