Job summary

Maxonic Inc. is seeking a seasoned Full-stack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain modern applications using Angular on the frontend and Spring Boot on the backend.

The role emphasizes Azure cloud-native and on-premises deployments, API/Microservice development, and collaboration with product owners and architects to ensure scalable, high-performing software. The Engineer II will translate UX designs with Figma, implement reusable components, and participate in CI/CD and testing processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years of software engineering with full-stack delivery.
• Strong proficiency in Angular and Spring Boot for enterprise apps.
• Experience with cloud-native/hybrid apps, preferably using Microsoft Azure.
• Experience building RESTful APIs, microservices.
• Proficient in CI/CD and Git workflows.
• Figma experience to translate designs into UI/UX.
• Good communication and Agile collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Angular and Spring Boot.
• Build and enhance Azure cloud-native and on-premises applications.
• Develop reusable frontend components and backend services with modular design.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Translate designs from UX into high-quality user experiences using Figma.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and quality.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated tests (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
• Apply secure coding practices, accessibility standards, and coding conventions.
• Troubleshoot and optimize production applications for performance and reliability.
• Develop solutions for complex retail business processes and customer experiences.
• Assist in AI-powered feature integration into applications.
