Job summary

C3 AI is seeking a Lead/Senior Software Engineer, Full-Stack to join the AI Studio team in California. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications and lead cross-team technical discussions.

The role requires 5+ years of software development with JavaScript or Java, strong OO programming, and experience with modern JS frameworks. Excellent communication and ownership are essential for success in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience (8+ for lead).
• Strong hands-on experience with object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and web application development.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Redux, Vue, Backbone, or Angular.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; end-to-end ownership of projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain performant and scalable full-stack applications.
• Build and improve visual tools for development and data science to enable end-to-end AI app creation.
• Collaborate with Product Management, UX Designers, and Front-End/Back-End Engineers.
• Lead cross-team technical design discussions on architecture, UI components, UX, back-end integration, and testing.
• Rapidly fix bugs and proactively improve products and technologies.
• Manage individual project deliverables and mentor junior team members on coding standards.
• Help build a team and cultivate innovation.
