Job summary

Hercules is looking for a senior or staff level full-stack software engineer to help build the future of AI software development. As part of our team, you will own features across Hercules including our AI Agent, App Builder, and hosting infrastructure.

The successful candidate should be skilled in software fundamentals, SaaS, and our core technologies including TypeScript and React. Benefits include a flexible vacation policy and a competitive salary up to $250K.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of system design, architecture, data modeling.
• Ability to write clean and maintainable code.
• Experience shipping features to customers independently.

Responsibilities

• Build and own features across Hercules.
• Work with our AI Agent and App Builder.
• Contribute to hosting infrastructure and SDK development.

Skills

Software fundamentals: system design, architecture, data modeling, and API design

Code and codebase quality: write clean, maintainable code. Work effectively in monorepos

Product/design sense: track record of independently shipping lots of features

SaaS experience: billing, identity, product analytics

Core stack: TypeScript, React, containers, Postgres, Redis, Temporal
