Job summary

Tenant Inc, based in Irvine, CA, is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to drive the technical execution of our core platform. You will architect full-stack features using Node.js, React, and AWS, mentor the engineering team, and shape AI-driven development, testing, and deployment practices.

You will own the SDLC, collaborate with CTO and Product leadership, and help scale a high-visibility platform used by property managers across the US.

Qualifications

• 2+ years leading AI-driven development and deployment across a complex codebase (ClaudeCode preferred)
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Deep expertise in Node.js and a modern frontend framework (React preferred)
• Strong SQL experience with MySQL/Postgres
• Hands-on AWS experience (Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, API Gateway)
• Proficiency in Python scripting
• Experience mentoring engineering teams
• Unix/Linux experience and Git workflows

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead development of full-stack features across our SaaS platform using Node.js, React, and AWS
• Own the full SDLC from design through production support
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, set standards and build a culture of technical excellence
• Drive cloud infrastructure decisions on AWS and serverless patterns
• Partner with CTO/Product to translate business requirements into scalable solutions
• Communicate progress and risks clearly to leadership
• Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and growing the engineering org
