Job summary

Taxo, based in New York City, seeks a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to own features end-to-end in a healthcare AI platform. You'll work across frontend and backend, design APIs, ensure security and data audibility, and collaborate with voice AI and product teams to ship reliable software.

You’ll build with React/Next.js on the frontend and Node.js/TypeScript on the backend, leveraging PostgreSQL and AWS. Equity is offered alongside competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Independent ownership of production web applications across frontend and backend from design to launch.
• Strong frontend and backend experience with API design and secure data handling.
• Ability to ship features end-to-end with maintainable code and tests.

Responsibilities

• Ship End to End: design, build, and ship features for healthcare teams with clear interfaces and data models.
• Connect the Workflow: develop APIs and workflows using shared healthcare services and connectors.
• Practice Product Engineering: translate product requirements into practical technical designs.
• Build for Reliability: improve performance, reliability, observability, and secure data handling.
• Set the Standard: write tests, strengthen CI/CD, and facilitate releases.
• Shape the Architecture: collaborate with voice AI engineers; review code and guide architecture.
