Job summary

EY, a global professional services firm, is seeking a frontend software engineer to join our Platforms Practice. You will identify and define user requirements and build UI across mobile, web and tablets, ensuring components interact cleanly with upstream and downstream systems.

You will apply Angular/TypeScript expertise, craft high-quality interfaces, and contribute to a collaborative agile environment. EY offers a hybrid work model in many US locations and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• Typically, no less than 2 - 4 years relevant experience.
• 3-5+ years of experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and building Agents.
• Ability to design and implement robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI.
• Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms using Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC, and Azure Active Directory (AAD).
• Experience with Data Visualization tools like: D3, Highcharts, Plotly.js, Ember Charts.
• Experience using Commercial Dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker).
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) / unit testing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with clients to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that the final product meets their needs.
• Designing and developing user interfaces that are not only functional but also enhance user experience.
• Writing clean, maintainable code and creating specifications that support business objectives.
