Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to evolve the NBA platform’s Action Library and Command Center, focusing on frontend work with React and TypeScript while building robust APIs and services.

You will collaborate with product, design, and platform teams to deliver scalable, production-ready solutions across the enterprise. The role emphasizes responsible state handling, contract-first API development, and data modeling with PostgreSQL, plus exposure to Kafka-based integrations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full stack software engineering with strong React and TypeScript
• Experience building production-grade web apps using modern React architecture
• Strong Node.js/TypeScript backend development experience
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• Understanding of modern front-end architecture, state mgmt, routing
• Experience with API contracts, schema validation, and strongly typed development
• Familiarity with containerized deployment, CI/CD, and cloud-native development
• Strong testing discipline and collaboration across teams

Responsibilities

• Front-end engineering — design and build responsive UIs with React and TypeScript
• Full stack development — deliver features across the stack including APIs and services
