Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in backend engineering with Python, including a strong command of Python frameworks.
• Proven experience building microservices in high-throughput environments on Azure Cloud.
• Strong understanding of API management platforms.
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing workloads on the Azure platform.
• Expertise with Azure DevOps, building CI/CD pipelines.
• Expertise with Azure Event Hub for streaming, pub/sub, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience integrating with Azure Blob Storage for cloud native data solutions.
• Solid knowledge of React and the pros and cons of using other JavaScript frameworks.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and cloud native design patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable, secure, and resilient distributed systems.
• Oversee API design and integration using Azure services, ensuring governance, throttling, and lifecycle management.
• Design and implement solutions leveraging Azure services.
• Manage cloud storage integrations using Azure Blob Storage for large-scale data ingestion and retrieval.
• Provide technical direction for frontend architecture using React, ensuring high performance and maintainability.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce engineering standards, and mentor developers.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and ensure system reliability and observability.
• Champion best practices in security, performance, testing, and DevOps automation.
