Job summary

Recruiter Concierge is partnering with a high-growth client in San Francisco hiring Full Stack Engineers to own core systems across the stack. You will build Python/TypeScript backends, design PostgreSQL databases, manage AWS infra, and ship React frontend surfaces with end-to-end ownership.

5–8+ years in fast-paced environments, deep TS/React, strong Python and PostgreSQL, startup background, and willingness to be in-person in San Francisco. Visa transfers/OPT/O-1 considered; no new sponsorship.

Global trade is a $10T industry still running on manual, document-heavy workflows. Customs brokerages spend hours per shipment on tasks that should take minutes. The companies fixing this are rare, and our client is one of them.

Our client builds AI agents that work alongside logistics teams to automate the operational tasks that slow every shipment. Their platform cuts customs clearance times to under 5 minutes and has already delivered 30,000+ hours back to brokerage teams. The company has moved well past zero to one, with strong month-over-month revenue growth and customers processing meaningful operational volume every day.

Our client has raised $5M from First Round Capital and Pear VC. The company is led by a deeply technical founding team from Google, LinkedIn, and Salesforce, with backgrounds from top schools and AI research labs.

About the Role:

Our client is hiring Full Stack Engineers to own core systems across the full stack, from backend services and data pipelines to the product surfaces that operations teams use every day.

You will build and scale Python and TypeScript backend services, design PostgreSQL databases, manage AWS infrastructure, orchestrate workflows with Temporal, and ship React frontend surfaces, all with full ownership of what you build in production.

This is a high-ownership role at a company past zero to one with real traction.

Must Have

• 5 to 8+ years of professional software engineering experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments
• Deep proficiency in TypeScript and React, with the ability to architect complex state management for data-intensive applications
• Strong command of Python for backend services and advanced SQL, specifically PostgreSQL, for database design and query optimization
• Startup experience at a legitimate company, not just a two- or three-person side project
• Bias for action, with a preference for shipping over over-engineering
• Ability to drive cross-functional delivery with minimal supervision
• Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco
• Fully in-person
• Visa: H-1B transfers, OPT, and O-1 considered; no new sponsorship

Nice to Have

• Experience integrating AI APIs and handling complex document extraction workflows
• Background at a top 50 school
• Familiarity with logistics, supply chain, or enterprise workflow software

• Salary Range: $210,000 — $285,000
• Equity: 0.25% — 0.6%
