Job summary

UT-Battelle's Oak Ridge National Laboratory invites a seasoned Full Stack Developer to build internal tools for the ARM Data Center. The role sits in the Earth Science Database Engineering and Informatics Group and focuses on delivering robust, scalable web applications within a one-year term.

Candidates should have at least five years in professional software development, strong JavaScript, Python and SQL skills, and experience with FastAPI and modern frontend frameworks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional software development environment.
• Proficient in the following programming languages: JavaScript, Python, SQL.
• Experience with Backend Frameworks such as FastAPI
• Frontend Frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue
• State Management systems (e.g. Pinia)
• Relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL

Responsibilities

• Independently develop web-based software applications.
• Ability to understand and develop the required functionality provided by requirements and mocks.
